Kids’ Sword Class at the Buddhist Temple
Something new and exciting for our group has been the bokto classes for kids over at the Buddhist Temple. Due to not having mats to train on, we’ve been focusing only on our bokto training. The 4th through 6th graders have even moved on to kumi-tachi techniques (sword-to-sword techniques), usually reserved for adults only. They’ve been loving it and therefore, progressing quite rapidly.
