Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara, along with other local businesses, in the news for helping teens.

Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse
As reported on KEYT3, Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara will be joining other local businesses in an effort to fight substance abuse in the community. The way it works is that teens pledge to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free for the weekend. Local businesses then support participating teens by giving free services or goods during the weekend. Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara will be offering a free Saturday morning Aikido class for participating teen.
In addition, AKSB has donated a gift certificate for the raffle, which is good for a month of aikido classes for one teen and a friend.
