On Thursday, June 18th, Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara participated in a 90-minute Summit called Building Community Connections: Gang Violence – Matching Youths with Summer Opportunities.

In an effort to raise awareness about our work with underprivileged and at-risk youth, we set a goal to build our Facebook fan base to 400 by the 4th of July. That gave us just 3 weeks to get about 80 more fans…
