Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara will be partnering with the Youth Services Specialists Program of the Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse to encourage teens to remain drug and alcohol free with their “Free 4 the Weekend” event. During the weekend, many teens from Carpinteria to Goleta will pledge to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free for the weekend. Local businesses will then support participating teens by giving free services or goods during the weekend. Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara will hold a special, free Saturday morning Aikido class for participating teens.
