Towards Sustainability!

Hello!

I just launched my personal Spring Fundraiser for AKSB!  (As usual, I’m hoping you’ll please give what you can…)  My goal is to raise $5,000 by May 15th!

Our big news is that with your help, we have now settled into our new home!

Being in this new space, teeming with possibilities, our membership has begun to grow.  We’re moving toward sustainability now.

Until we reach sustainability though, we hoping to enlist your help covering the increased costs of the new space.  You can help in any or all of the following ways:

Why support AKSB…?

  • Over half the members of our youth program are from qualifying, low-income families and receive sponsorship, thanks to your generous donations.
  • Aikido, “The Art of Peace”, offers tools for the peaceful resolution of conflict, helping to put an end to violence in Santa Barbara.
  • AKSB partners with various local agencies, such as Santa Barbara Judo Foundation, Casa de la Raza, Police Activities League, etc. to offer its programs to all local childdren who wish to participate, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Thank you again for your continued support.
