Hello!
My name is Danielle Nygren and I am a media relations intern for Aikido Kenkyukai.
A little bit about myself – I am a student at Santa Barbara City College and am studying psychology and sociology. I became interested in interning for this organization because I wanted to give back to the community and learn more about self enrichment and also marketing technqiues. I think the goal of the program is excellent because it can help people of all ages obtain spiritual growth and strength. I was especially interested in becoming a intern when I watched videos of Lia Suzuki Sensei interacting with students at the dojo; I became quickly impressed by the organization.
Although it is my first day with the organization I can already see the team work and heart that goes into making this program run effectively. I have had a great start working with Lia and the other interns today and look forward to meeting the rest of the team. I think that interning for Aikido Kenyukai will be an extremely rewarding experience.
