We’ve included you in this email either because your business has made a monetary or in-kind donation to Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara in the past or we’ve spoken about the possibility in the future.  (If we’re mistaken and you’d like to be removed from this “Corporate Donations List”, please just let us know or click here: )

We’re having a silent auction at our Black Belt Ceremony & Party on Friday, April 7th.  This is an opportunity to give your business more exposure, while simultaneously contributing to a worthy cause.  Here are some bullet points of the most important points:

  • Our Organization: We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are fully tax-deductible.  Your donations enable us to continue our work, including offering sliding scale fees and sponsorships to low income children who would not otherwise be able to participate.

Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara isa 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging the practice of the Japanese non-violent martial art of Aikido to promote physical health, self-esteem, and harmonious ways to resolve conflict.  One of our ongoing projects is to sponsor low income children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in our programs of Aikido training and mentoring.
