2012 Board Pledge Sheet

Thank you for making an annual pledge to Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara. Your written Board Pledge will assist our organization in the following ways:

• Help create a budget line item that we can plan on.
• Show Board commitment to donors and foundations throughout the year.
• Set a clear role model for new Board Member giving.

As you decide on the amount of your pledge, please consider:

• Your pledge may be made confidentially with staff.
• We ask that you consider a “significant” donation relative to your own personal budget; we recognize that this is different for each person.
• The amount you list on the pledge sheet should be considered separate from your support of annual events and campaigns (i.e. Fall Fundraiser, Roll-A-Thons, etc.).
• You may make your pledge monthly, quarterly, or annually. Staff will send you a reminder if you request it.

As a member of the Board of Directors of Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara, I, , make the following commitments (check all that apply):
