Recurring, Monthly Donations
How many latte’s do you buy in a month? How many beers? Can you go without one or two each month…?
One-Time Donations:
Why Donate?
- By the end of 2013, AKSB provided $9,267 in services to low-income children. Qualifying low-income families were able to receive this financial aid, thanks to your generous donations. And without this scheduled, and disciplined activity, they would be at higher risk of getting involved in drugs, violence, etc.
- AKSB launched its sliding scale program for military veterans with PTSD. Our aim is to offer financial aid to no less than 10 veterans in 2013, totaling $17,000.
- Aikido, “The Art of Peace”, offers tools for the peaceful resolution of conflict, helping to put an end to violence in Santa Barbara.
- AKSB partners with various local agencies, such as Santa Barbara Judo Foundation, Casa de la Raza, Police Activities League, etc. to offer its programs to all local children who wish to participate, regardless of socioeconomic status.
